Jones Co. Recreation is hosting a Polar Express Dinner, Games, and Movie Night for Ages 7-12. It will be Wed, Dec. 20th at the Civic Center, 530pm-915pm.

Pollocksville Elementary will begin our Winter Break with an Early Release at 11:30 am on Wednesday, December 20. We wish you a very merry Christmas and a Happy New Year. Students will resume their regular schedule on Monday, January 8, 2024.

Pollocksville Elementary Bus Route 143 will be running approximately 1 hour to a 1 hour and a half late. Students will be picked up by Bus 135. Sorry for the inconvenience.

Polllocksville Elementary School will host its Annual Christmas Program on Friday, December 15, at 6:00 pm. Students from grades 1 through 5 will participate in the musical, “How to Train your Reindeer to Fly”. PTO will be serving cookies and hot chocolate. Please plan on joining us.

This message is just a reminder that we will be celebrating Thanksgiving this week. There will be no school for students on Wednesday, November 22 through Friday, November 24. Happy Thanksgiving!

Jones Co Recreation will hold its first Basketball practice this evening, 6:30pm at Trenton Elementary Harry Brown Gym. For Ages 7-12.

U.S. News and World Report has published the 2024 Best Elementary Schools rankings, and the news is good for Jones County Public Schools! Two of Jones County Public Schools have been recognized as Best Elementary Schools because they placed among the top in the state academically.
