Pollocksville Elementary School sent home report cards on Friday, or they will go home today. Please review your child's report card, then sign and return the envelop. Also complete and sign the letter that was included with the report card. Thank you.

Pollocksville Elementary School will host a Read to Achieve Evening for third grade parents and guardians onTuesday, September 26, at 6:00, in the collaborative room of the school. Please attend to learn about this important state law and to receive your child's Beginning of Grade Reading Test results.
PES will also have its Book Fair Night on Tuesday, September 26, from 5:00 pm to 7:00 pm. This evening will give you the opportunity to shop with your child at our Scholastic Book Fair.

This call is just a reminder that Jones County Public Schools will be operating on a 2 hour delay on Friday, September 1, 2023, and that breakfast is not served with a delayed opening. We will be celebrating Labor Day on Monday, September 4. We hope everyone enjoys a safe and wonderful holiday.
Due to the potential of severe weather associated with Hurricane Idalia, Jones County Public Schools will be closed on Thursday, August 31st for students and staff. On Friday, September 1, Jones County Public Schools will operate on a two-hour delay. Please stay safe and we look forward to students and staff returning to school on Friday.
