The following message contains events at Jones Senior High School for the next month as well as well as other information.​ ​6th Grade Orientation is August 24th at 6:00 in the Harry Brown Gymnatorium. Open House for 7th-12th Grades will be August 25th from 4:00pm until 7:00pm. ​The first day of school for the 2022-2023 school year is August 29th. All cariders (JSHS and TES) will enter through the main office entrance. But TES and JSHS car rider lines will remain separate. Middle school students are required to be in their homeroom by 7:40 and high school students in their first period by 7:50.​ Students will receive their laptops on the first day of school. ​​Before students can receive their laptop they must pay any past fees and fees for this school year. Student fees include a $25 instructional fee and a $25 technology fee. Parents will write one check of $50 to JSHS. You will be notified at the open house if fees are previously owed or to find out sooner please contact the school. We are excited to announce that student schedules have been completed and will viewable on PowerSchool on Monday, August 15th at 9:00am.. If you have issues logging into PowerSchool, you may come by the school to pick up a paper copy of your schedule this week. Our office is open Monday - Friday between 8am and 3pm. If your 8th grade or high school student has a schedule change request, they must complete the online form which is available at tiny.cc/JSHSScheduleChange by this Friday, August 19th.
